Charging to access files

The web site chooses which files it wishes to charge for, and the price point at which they will be charged. We supply you with the necessary, along with simple instructions for implementing them. The process is exceptionally simple, both in its implementation and its use. The user clicks on a link to download the file, and is redirected to a form which gives instructions on how to obtain the access code. The user types the code in, and if it is valid, the download process begins. If not, an error page (which can be within the customer's site) is displayed.   

Charging to access specific pages

The client decides which pages are to be restricted so that users can view them only when payment has been made. These pages can be grouped into different zones, and multiple zones can be created in such a way that passwords that are used for one zone will not work in another. You can even have multiple sites included in the same account. The duration of the users pass code is defined by the client, so for example a pass codes may work for one whole day in one section, 30 days in another and for just 1 page view in another.   

Web Chat

Web chat enables a web site to display the contents of SMS messages that their users have sent in. The messages are displayed in a chat window, where the webmaster can intervene and add his/ her comments to the debate. Please click here to see an example.

Web Ticker

The web ticker enables SMS messages from your visitors to be displayed in a scrolling "marquee" or "ticker" type window. As webmaster, you can define the speed, number of messages, refresh rate and colours. Please click here to see an example.

Top up

Many sites operate accounts for their users, many of which have access to priveleges in return for a subscription or other form of payment. The Sepomo top up technology allows sites to manage credits on individual accounts, so that for example texting "sitename username" to a premium rate number, the user account is instantly credited.

It has many applications, not least of which is tapping the segments of your userbase that are reluctant to commit to a subscription via say credit card, but don't mind paying with SMS on a per use basis.

Contact (HTTP push)

This service is designed for customers that want to receive in their servers their customer´s information, in real time, so that they can use this information (eg. to sign them up on a service, to run statistics, etc)

Communications bridge (HTTP bridge)

This service enables our customer to use our platform as a bridge to communicate in real time with the user that sends an SMS. Sending information to the user about his credit on a particular service is one example of the applications of this service. In order for this service to work properly, the customer must have a server available 24*7, as the messages must be answered immediately.

Alerts

Alerts are designed to send particular information to a group of people on a regular basis. Users sign up for the service with an SMS, and can also stop with a simple SMS. The information they receive is defined by the client/webmaster, and each alert generates the full premium rate commission. This service can easily be linked into the micropayments platform, so that for example fresh passwords are issued to the user base on a daily or weekly basis, giving permanent access to premium content without needing to pay with credit cards or even reveal personal details.

Bulk SMS send

This service enables SMS to be sent to a bulk distribution list. Users are not charged for receiving the messages, and each message has a small cost associated. Credits are prepurchased, and the SMS can be sent via a URL to an entire mailing list, or to individual mobiles via the control panel.

Competitions

This technology enables competitions to be launched whose participation requires sending one or more SMS. The parameters are defined by the client, and each SMS generates the standard premium commission.

This service enables people to hook up and chat on their mobiles, with no need to to go through any website.

WAP push

Wap push enables individual content to be downloaded onto the handset, be it images, games, melodies, or any other media supported by the terminal.

Multiple SMS payment

Certain sites decide to charge more than 1SMS for their services. This is perfectly possible with Sepomo´s platform. Codes can have 1, 2, 3, 4 or more SMS, as defined by the client.

This service offers the possibility to send to the customers, by e-mail, the users call information. It is useful for those clients that do not deal easily information in other formats.
