Sepomo was formed in April 2002 to meet the demand for
micropayment services in internet.
Our solution allows simple and quick payment for services over the internet
via a mobile phone, and was initially available in Spain and the UK. Since then we have expanded the service to 10
countries more (footprint).
Sepomo is based in Madrid, Spain. Its founder and CEO is Mike Beattie, who
has over 13 years experience with BT and MM02 in the international telecomms
and internet markets. Mike has worked in the UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal,
Holland, Brazil, Venezuela and Argentina. His previous role was as
the MD of Genie Mobile for MM02 (BT) in Spain.
Sepomo operates with the following philosophy.
1. Absolute professionalism in all its relationships.
2. Our customers provide our reference points.
3. Building long term value.
4. Technolgy that works for customers.
Professionalism
We know that our revenues, and therefore our long term survival, comes
from our customers. We also understand that the services we provide
are relied upon by our customers to meet their own customer needs.
We use technology to provide an efficient medium to enhance distribution
and closeness to end customers, as well as maintaining a tightly controlled
cost base to ensure value is not lost through unnecessary inefficiencies.

Customers
Many of us have experienced good customer service and bad customer service.
At Sepomo we know that without customers we have no business,
and that ultimately it is our customers who decide our success or otherwise.
So in our relationships with customers, we do not question motives, objectives,
knowledge, ability or any other issue that may cloud our judgement. We just
do everything possible to meet your needs. Full stop.
Long term value
The company has been established to provide micropayment services to companies
operating in the internet environment. We will grow our volumes, our geographic
reach and our channels in order to improve the margins available to our customers.
We know that by continually focussing on our customers requirements and adapting with
them we will allow their businesses to be more effective. Micropayments is not a transitory
need but a long term requirement for many businesses. We are here for the long term.
Technology that works for customers
All our technology is outsourced. We do this to
maintain a tightly controlled cost base, and to ensure a continual focus
on customers rather than the technology itself. Our aim is to make
the technology transparent to our users, ensuring the highest levels of
reliability and ease of use. We will never provide a service that
hasn't been thoroughly tested by users to prove its value.
